Viscose dyeing process
The main function of this study was to get the ideal dyeing circumstances in addition to predict the color strength (CS) of viscose/lycra blended knitted materials using Taguchi technique. The controllable facets such as dye focus, heat, time, alkali concentration, salt concentration and alcohol ratio being utilized as input factors and CS of this fabric as response adjustable the building of Taguchi design. An L25 orthogonal array design has-been plumped for and carried out 25 experiments with three runs for every research. The suitable variables within the dyeing process were recognized as dye focus 9%, time 60 min, temperature 75 °C, sodium concentration 50 g/l, alkali focus 14 g/l and alcohol ratio 1:8. Taguchi mathematical design integrated this study happens to be confirmed by confirmation experiment also unseen experimental information. The mean absolute error and coefficient of dedication (2) had been found become 3.48per cent and 0.88, respectively, from the actual and predicted CS. Its figured Taguchi technique is efficient on the optimisation and prediction of fabric CS in non-linear complex dyeing.
