Furniture fabric dye
Add design towards upholstery fabric with paint that endure, and resist wear and tear. You will need, spray container with liquid, green painter's tape, chalk paint for all over color and accent. Brushes for artwork and waxing, completing wax and fine grit sandpaper or sanding block. Tape off any trim you do not desire painted. Operate your hands within the tape to create a beneficial seal. Wet down the material with a spray bottle, doing work in sections. This allows the paint to glide on and immerse in much easier. Brush on a layer of chalk paint using a swirling movement. Unlike acrylic paint, chalk paint soaks in and dyes the material. Allow paint fully dry. Re-spray with liquid before applying more paint. Include an extra and 3rd layer coating if required, enabling paint to dried out between coats. Once totally dried, sand the cushion lightly with good grit sandpaper, to smooth out the area. If you should be painting on fabric or plastic, you don't need to sand. Wipe away any dirt made from sanding. For an additional embellishment, we added a straightforward stripe, and another colour of chalk paint. [MUSIC] Brush on a wax finish to secure the paint. [MUSIC] Using this technique your upholstery moved from drab to fab, all-in a weekend.
